2016 Upgraded Camera Straps

New Camera Straps, New Materials, Same Original Design

Denim Camera Strap

Moving into the New Year we wanted to upgrade our line of camera straps to more closely replicate the improvements in our newly upgraded Travelers Trunks. We are thrilled to announce the release of our New Lookout Camera Straps in both 12.5 oz Denim and Carhartt Canvas Duck.

What Changed?

We changed from 10 oz canvas to both a 12.5 oz Denim and 12.5 oz Canvas Duck.  The dark blue sturdy denim that we used has been tested by us for over a year.   With time, this Denim will look like your favorite pair of broken-in jeans. The Carhartt Canvas Duck is well known to last a long time and to withstand heavy use. We added our new handcrafted genuine leather logo for a classy look that will hold up over the years.

Over a year ago we were approached by the young up and coming photographer Gabriella Makena who suggested we make a camera strap.  We started with thick neoprene for comfort, paracord from our Travelers Trunks and adapted the same Velcro D-ring design as used on our General suspenders.  Throughout testing our prototypes we found exactly the right combination of style and comfort.  By hand selecting new materials and adding our handcrafted leather logo, we upgraded the already comfortable strap to a new level of style and function.
